Mock Munition Mania

Kids are getting suspended for bringing toy guns to school... Well, here's a question: When does it go too far? I mean, sure if its a replica- or an air gun- or if it looks like it can actually do some damage- I can understand that. But recently its been showing up on the news that there's kids getting in trouble for tiny little things! I mean these two kids below... I'll let you watch the videos:

2 inch gun

4 inch gun

These are non issues! And, if you notice, they both appear to be playing with cops- officers of the law! Cops in America, correct me if I'm wrong, carry firearms. How about toy soldiers? Are they going to start suspending kids who play with toy soldiers- they have weapons- isn't that the same? Of course they're not going to take the soldiers, because its moronic!

I get that there is concern surrounding weapons- and there should be- but they're not looking in the right place if this is what's getting kids into trouble. This one is concerning:

but those were real weapons- fully loaded. I can also get why people would be concerned about this:

The one on the left is obviously a toy gun- but it would be easy to mistake out of the corner of your eye- or if someone painted over the end et cetera. Its ridiculous to suspend a child over a 4 inch piece of plastic that would do less damage than a ruler, and I have little more to say on the matter.
