When it rains, it pours...

Now, more than ever, I am convinced the world has something against me having a job. I'm either unemployed, or bad things are happening to the people around me. I had some very uneventful months between June and November of last year, then as soon as I get a job in December- Babies fall ill, then everyone else I know (including myself) fall ill- my friends are getting depressed- chaos. As soon as my contract was up- everything went back to being uneventful. My world was a place full of boredom and inactivity and everyone was healthy.

I had made a wager with myself, and I told other people of this wager- about the rash I got the last time I worked at the cinema (from the solution the 3D glasses are cleaned with), that the moment it cleared up- that would be when I went back to work for them. Lo and behold- it cleared up on Wednesday night- Thursday saw me back at the cinema... hmmnn... And as soon as I begin working again, a dear friend of the family falls very very ill- so much so that we're asking everybody to pray for her, her husband and her two kids. And now the icing on the cake, the small baby we have has fallen ill once again, and has just been admitted to hospital.

This all seems very, very unfair to me.
